The food is absolutely delicious! We had a cream tea before returning to the midlands & I honestly could've had so many more home baked goods! We ended up with a beautiful sausage roll, cream tea & millionaire cake which was under £17. Theres a little shop at the back which is a lovely touch. The workers (which I later realised were volunteers) were honestly lovely & so welcoming. The scenery is also beautiful, with seating within and outside. I was absolutely devastated to see such a beautiful property damaged by a fire however I love that the community are working together to raise money to restore the house!

This place is so so cute. The staff are really friendly, it's got lovely decorations inside and feels a homely space. There are benches for sitting outside too. We often stop here on cycle rides as the setting is lovely. They have a great menu for lunches and excellent cake selection. They do offer some gluten free items too. Overall a lovely cafe to visit

I love Branches Cafe - the same price (if not cheaper) than other coffee shops and you’re doing something 1000x better for the community than popping into your local Costa or Starbucks when you come here for a cuppa and a cake. The food is great, locally sourced, fresh with a great range of paninis, cakes, drinks etc. I LOVE that this cafe is run by volunteers, and volunteers that give such friendly, welcoming service too. The money you spend in the cafe goes to restoring Poltimore House, and personally I’d much rather my custom supports the volunteers and my money goes towards restoring and preserving such a great piece of history in our community. Always recommend Branches to my friends, and I’ll certainly keep coming back, it’s the most wholesome place thank you to the team that keep it running and make it so special.

Lovely cafe run by volunteers. Good selection of hot meals, cakes, and drinks. Locally sourced produce for sale at the back of the cafe. Memorabilia about Poltimore House is also available to purchase. The cafe was very clean and tables cleared quickly. There are outside seating and toilets located here too.. The staff were friendly and helpful. At present, only open on weekends and on event days.

Fab place to have breakfast or lunch in an amazing location. Dogs are welcome with a doggy treat. Food is fresh from local farms and the cakes are huge.
